I've just been reading a Dutch magazine and it looks like there are a few improvements in store for the MY04 206 (you'll have to trust my Dutch 
).
* New 1.4 16V Engine - 65kW (auto to still soldier on with 55kW 1.4 8V)
* Tiptronic to be introduced on the automatic gearbox.
* ABS standard on most models (about time!)
* ESP standard on 2.0 CC & GTi.
Some of the above may not necessarily filter down to Australia, but the introduction of a 16V 1.4 is a welcome addition (I'd expect to eventually see this in the C3 too). The current engine is a bit behind the times.
