206 GTI using dash without the BSI

Hi eveyone. One of my mates who is a member here races his 206 in Kanacross, I am the poor sap who keeps it running for him. I am about to ditch the BSI and ECU for a Speeduino to simplify the wiring, alas the dash, which we need the tach and temp gauges, speaks VAN, I only speak CAN. has anyone been able to address the dash directly without the BSI. Thanks Daz

Any later model of the 206 that uses CAN, like the early 307 was Van, ended up as CAN. I salute you on the ECU building one myself.

Thanks for the replies, The bridge looks interesting, much reading to do. Matthew it will be an interesting journey, I will keep the project one here as I get it running so it can be used by any other person who cant say no to a project. If the bridge can be included in the Speeduino as a complete package (PnP) that would be cool, but thing rarely work that way.
