205 Si versus Gti rear trailing arms

Hi. I have searched - and not found. There appears to be a difference in the thickness of the Si base model rear beam trailing arm and the gti arm, at the point where the stub axle is pressed in? I dont have a set of gti arms to compare.

Si trailing arm - 59mm width outside, 52mm ID without the sub axle fit.

Looking at the new stub axle we were about to fit, the gti arm must be about 10mm thicker? Can anyone help to confirm?
