Due to numerous reason I'm pulling the pin on my si project and looking for a quick sale.
if it sells complete or at least as a roller it needs to be gone by 5th may. Buy end of Sunday 5th it will stripped. All the good bits will stored away and the body removed from site. I just don't have room to store the whole car properly and don't have the time it needs to be put back on the road. A few years ago I considered not even fixing it but due to the extreme prices that have been showing up online for vehicles and the ability to even find a si to buy thought it to good to wreck. I've definately seen worse cars and couldnt bring myself to let it go. Ive been back and forth about fixing or scraping it for a while now and it just has to go. Good entry level 205 project for someone with more time and enthusiasm than what I currently have and loads of good parts in there if you just wanted a parts car. I've owned over fifteen 205's in as many years and it's time to move on.
The bad bits
Dash needs refitting (but it's all there)
Binnacle is broken
Its missing centre console
rear hatch needs glass fitting (glass provided)
Driver door lock is jammed (I removed lock as it locked shut a few times)
Currently has a manual gti steering rack
Body has a few small marks/scatches
Body has a few small dents but nothing major. mainly driver side door
Windscreen has bullseye (needs new screen)
Radiator has a slow weep needs top once a month.
Exhaust is rotten from mid section back
16v motor needs wiring finishing off
It actually presents reasonably well but definately one of the rougher cars I've owned.
The good bits
good running 16v xu7jp4 motor which can be removed and price adjusted if not wanted
Optional 8v block and head in good rebuildable cond needs internals but could help there (block dipped and blasted around liner seats)
Full silicone hose kit on motor
gti s3 close ratio gearbox
4.06 crown wheel and pinion (to convert the above boxes FD)
S3 hubs and shafts
Gti k frame and control arms
Gti front springs
306 14" steelies
306 front and rear disc brakes
Fully rebuilt rear beam
21mm rear arb
Gti s1 front door cards
Gti s3 rear door cards
Gti red carpet
Good si bonnet
Reasonable si seats F & R
2-3 boxes of parts
No rust
$2500 as is where is. will start and drive onto trailer. Available on weekends only. Currently located in Daylesford VIC. Would prefer to sell whole but unfortunately don't have alot of time to make this happen so will start pulling a few parts over the next few weekends and Body will be gone on the 5th if it doesn't sell. Could potentially break it down earlier if there is enough interest in the parts.

So in an attempt to clean up all my parts and sell the last 205 I have, I went looking for struts and hubs in my stash of bits to get it rolling again. A few years back I wrecked a 306 xt and i left all the bits in a shed offsite. After I dragged a trailer load of bits home I found hubs, brakes...
