Hi Fellas,

Just wanted to ask; was taking a look at my original 203 wipers, and they have seen better days. Also, along with the rubbers being absolutely shot, they are mismatched. Just wondering what people did for alternatives and how they adapted them up onto wiper shafts/pins?

I do have a bunch of SEV 404 wipers but totally different splines. I am sure someone has ways and means to adapt though.

Looking forward to some insight, as uaual.

Thanks boys!

You can keep the original shafts and adapt modern blades if you are ingenious. It's not rocket science.
But you can get new original ones from France if you want the proper look. Have you got all the French Spares details?
I forget them at the moment but if you want to find them yourself the trick is
1. Google French Google
2. Search on French Google for 203 Peugeot pièces de voitures d'occasion en france , or words to that effect.
You could add 'ancienes'

I'll look into that, cheers! I think as a temporary solution, I will adapt the originals shafts, I'll just give them a good clean and paint. Any idea if these are adaptable? (Does say for Peugeot 203) - then again, I've been fooled before when buying off ebay, haha!

Whatever you use, I'm sure most here would agree that the way to go is to also treat the glass with RainX. I've been using it for 30 years, and love it

Look at land rover and early VW available with later style black backing , if you are just replacing the blades,

The people who sell Lucas repro stuff (from Melb I think)at swap meets also sell the original style blades
