2013 508 Reversse Mirror Tilt

Hello Peugeotnians,

I have never been able to get the side mirrors to tilt down when the car goes into reverse. There is a procedure in the manual and I have followed it to the letter but it never works.

Has anybody been able to make theirs work?

I'm wondering if it has been switched off at some time by a dealer.

Mirror tilt when selecting reverse was only fitted to cars with electric seats with memory. This was a couple of buttons for driver 1 and driver 2 on the side of the driver’s seat.

Only the GT spec with 2.2L diesel has those seats in the Australian market cars, so if the car has a 2L diesel or 1.6L turbo petrol, it won’t have mirror tilting unfortunately.

I sold my 508 many years ago but I recall this is mentioned in the manual.
