2005 Pug 307cc Radio Presets & Middle dash display resets after engine is turned off

In the last two weeks each time the engine is switched off the radio presets, display resets and the remote for door opening and close has stopped working. No obvious codes from diagbox. Any thoughts why this would start happening?

Check the fuses, the radio gets +12v from ign/acc via one fuse to operate, and a always live +12v from battery via another fuse to keep the presets. Remote sensor will be using the same always live +12v fuse.

This fuse should be in the BSI (behind glove box....who wears glove??) from memory a 5A fuse no idea of number, get your meter out and check them all. otherwise an ignition switch wire has gone loose/corroded

The shunt fuse is responsible for that but it's odd for the radio to loose its presets you may have a failing radio but make sure the shunt is in client position

you were spot on. my son moved the shunt fuse trying to fix the radio.
