1999 306 1.9 diesel alternator mount bracket.

Hi,Attempting to remove above so that i can replace the Air con pump.

Have removed one hex bolt,one hex socket head bolt from across bottom of bracket....one socket from top R.H. of bracket......also one 19 mm bolt which runs parallel to crankshaft.

Looked on internet for a bracket to look at...Mate has no piccies in his manuals.

Does anyone have a clue....Locked up somewhere...tight as a drum...solid as a rock..

Might be worthwhile taking some pics of the problem so we can have a look. Not sure where the exact issue is here...

Maybe the diesel is different but I’ve looked at the petrol motor I have and there’s a hefty cast iron mount bolted to the block that is part engine mount, power steering pump mount, alternator mount. There are 4 bolts holding the air con compressor to the engine oil sump. The bolt lugs are part of the sump.

Thanks,I had a fresh look at the situation this morning.Had a chat to 'Young Joe' at Sims Motors.Had a 'catch up chat'.Brain was registering info incorrectly...will give all a wash...will be done.
