Note LOCATED IN CHRISTCHURCH NEW ZEALAND
Looking for $10000 nz dollars or near offer.
Probably the 80’s at its finest as anyone in this forum will agree I’m sure!.
1.6 carbureted turbo. 5spd. Sold new in NZ
Very well specced for the day. I’m sure everyone on here will now what they have but some notable items:
4 wheel disc brakes
Central locking
Electric windows
Trip computer (see below)
Electric mirrors (see below)
Remote locking (see below)
Just had all the consumables replaced. Carb kit fitted. New fuel pump & filter. Runs and drives well. Interior very good. Body in good condition. No rust apart from in the lower edge of the tailgate frame. These go surprisingly well, handle well for the era and have some of the most comfortable seats in the business.
Car is not perfect but most likely one of the better ones of these around. Fuel gauge does not work which means the trip computer doesn’t show correct info. The sender had seized up from sitting and I can’t find a replacement. PLIP sensor and remote are there but not working. Both external mirrors are just cut glass glued in so do not adjust though the electrics work. If you can find a factory glass everything is still there to attach to. Radio not working
Prior to my ownership a dent on the LR guard just behind the door has been pushed out so surface is uneven. Not obvious from all angles. Note has travelled 73300 miles not k’s
I will not be comfortable with an overseas purchaser buying this without at least a phone discussion. I will provide videos and images of anything needed and will provide an honest run down on the car. It is nearing 40 years old so don’t expect a new car.
029 977 3491. To call I believe you ad 0064 and drop the zero before the 029. E.g. 0064 29 9773491.
