Watch from out side when somebody drives past and slams on the brake to a stop you will see big backwards moment

Yes, have an assistant move the car back and forward in your driveway and apply the brakes as you watch the position of the wheel relative to the wheelarch. If the rear LCA rubber bush has broken, the wheel will move in the wheelarch by well over an inch. A knock on braking may also be the bush in the bottom of the front upright, so you listen and check that bush to see if there is rubber being extruded and/or contact witness marks on the casting.
