I need to fit new tyres on the Alpine (185/60HR13)but there doesn't seem to be much available in this size. I am currently using Yokohama A032R's for the track, but on the road they're only good for about 5000 kms.

Does anyone have good experience with another brand or tread pattern that still has good roadholding but may last just a bit longer than the A032R's?

Robert

Hi Robert

Yokohama make the A539 which is a high performance tyre. The girl friend has them on her Commodore and they are a good tyre, but I'm not sure if they are available in the size you require.

Regards COL

I did Targa NZ this year with a set of Dunlop Formula R's They are a sensational tyre. I think you can them in the size you are after becasue there was a Dauphine G in the race that had them.

Highly recommended!

What's their approximate lifespan and what's their cost?
