Hiya folks. Just wanted to check in to see if anyone was aware of any common coolant leakage issues on the T7.
I am losing a LOT of coolant that from the passenger side, from what I can see somewhere to the rear and below the thermostat housing.
It's a bit hard to see but I managed to get a very obscure photo of where it is pooling, with it coating a screw that looks like it protrudes from the block?
Anyway I've run out of daylight but the next move is battery tray out (which involved removing the passenger side front wheel (!!!) and removal/move aside of the wiring loom which I find slightly nerve wracking.
I suspect perhaps the thermostat housing or one of the rear hoses...?

It is a known problem. It often happened under warranty.

Thanks guys. Makes sense. Do you know whether they rectified the problem with the new units or is it a case of replacement every X number of kays?

Incidentally this is not the reason the car was on the ramps originally - auxillary electric water pump and turbo wastegate but the car decided it may as well add to that list...
