505 2.0 vs 2.2 bellhousing

Hi all
Does anybody know if the 5spd gearbox from a prefacelift 505 2.0 STI will fit a facelift 505 2.2 GTI? I figure these are both douvrin engine so should be the same bellhousing/starter/flywheel, is that correct?

Yes, if they are both the overhead cam Douvrin engine, they will fit.

The pushrod 2.0 is different to the overhead motors.

If a ba10/5 sti box you will need to change the outter torque tube if the car is an original ba7/5.

I know NZ got those boxes

Only if it’s a ba10. But won’t hurt to grab the inner prop shaft. As had a few strip.
