    Default LED trailer lights

Before I waste time and money buying LED lights for my trailer and find they dont work because of the multiplex system's sensitivities in my 308....
Has anyone put LED Lights on their trailer for a recent PSA model car and had any issues??

If there could be a problem I might have to take the long approach and experiment with LEDs and current limiting resisters to get the current draw to match what incandescent bulbs draw

If the world was rational, there would be no need for a manufacturer to develop or sell device to "waste" power in a car so the computer thinks that everything is working correctly! It's somewhat illogical.

I think you're stating that the 'computer' will compensate for all conditions???
Low power consumption is an ideal but the car's setup may have to compromise for some things

I have found that if an indicator on the trailer doesnt work then the indicators on my 308 flash slow.
So I'm assuming the electrical interface unit ( that makes the 308's towbars so expensive) is looking for a certain current drain from the trailer's lights for the car's and trailer's lights to work successfully

I'd some some IGBTs (you may be OK with plain BTs) controlled by the existing wiring and use them to switch the trailer light loads.

That removes any possibility of problems.

My 307 doesn't like it if I keep the lights off, the trailer LEDs flicker. If I put the parkers on then they all work perfectly.

I still might have problems as the BT may not be the correct load for the wiring interface unit

Is this a Multiplexed wired car?
