    Default Freezing/crashing

I've been having a few issues lately at work whereby AF is locking up/freezing and having to recover itself or just crashing as a consequence. Using Internet explorer (of which I have no choice so don't suggest any alternatives! : ))

I'm not having any issues at home on Safari, although my comment would be that AF occasionally runs slow or is slow to load.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Its an IE thing I think... I get IE freezes/crashes all the time on media site such as The Age and Autoblog

Does it a bit on firefo - never ever does it at home on a real computer...

As to the actual cause, dunno - just crappy software.

If you have automatically updated microsoft and windows as par for the course try a simple system restore to see if it brings it all back together. People who know use "Opera".
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

It is a standard feature of IE on some sites and it may not manifest itself all the time, but seems to be more common after updates then settles down again

Being at work I don't have much control over updates or restores. I can't see myself asking the IT dept to restore windows or IE because it is interfering with my web surfing!

Let's hope it settles down. It seems to be only over the last week or so.

Mate, you'll have to start taking more "sickies". We can't have work interfering with AussieFrogs. With all the equal opportunity and non discrimination stuff around these days, ask the boss if you can take your maternity leave in lots of half a day at a time so you can keep uptodate with AF gossip.
