That's easy, not often .... but when I need it I carry "The black turd" on my roof (well that's what we refer to it as either way).

Well, if I were a US presidential candidate, it might be my dog. But only to keep him out of harm's way from another US presidential candidate who has admitted to eating dog.

Sorry all- I need to find some humor in that train wreck we call an election.

At least it's over for another 4 years. He's just keeping the seat warm for Hilary.

As far as carrying stuff, radio mast for a RFID transmitter on special stages ... Count as unusual?

I once carried 18, 6 metre lengths of stormwater pipe on standard roof racks on my R12.

I only carried them a couple of kms from Bunnings to the house I was working on but I got there no dramas.

I have a picture on an old phone somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

Hey its only an automatic Si.
But perhaps our "Scorcher" pizza would suit Sir??

Have had 50 pizzas in there for one delivery to a party.
    Became quite tropical inside.

Dirt and dust, I'm carrying that on the roof of my car.

I better give it a wash.

I once carried my wallet on the roof of the car, then spent 15mins (late for a meeting) rescuing credit cards and banknotes from the gutters on both sides of the road.

I think most of the rest of the world had a good chuckle at the election. It looks more like a travelling circus than politics as most of us know it

But maybe what I am hearing is a bit of nervous laughter and collective sigh of relief....

I once bought an 18ft canoe and then found I had no place to store it. It lived on the roof rack for over three months (with occasional use) before I managed to sell it again.

Not often you see an R16 with the ultra-rare frogroof option.

I wonder if that's a reproduction, and if it was, if it was properly ribbeted on.....

If it was any bigger it would have to be towed.

I drove my R16ts about 10K to Latrobe Uni about 20 yrs ago with my mobile phone sitting on the roof. I had wondered why so many drivers were waving and pointing at me!!!!!

    Great ride from 16's.

    Jesus - that's a serious roof pod!!!

I just got a 360 litre Thule roof pod thingy for the Megane, still waiting for roof racks from the UK to try it out. Will get used relocating Kirsty from tassie.
