Renault 21 Manual...Price looks OK & judging by the location perhaps Ray's brother knows this car. In this week's Trading Post.

supposed to be or we are lead to believe they are rare
i know i have seen my fair share of 21's over the years
there used to be at least 8-9 of them running around the southern highlands a few years ago so they can't be too rare i wouldn't think

I just got the impression from what's been said here at times that manuals & rockin' horse dooey are usually found in the same location.
There used to be someone on here who had one (an auto I think) but he came from the Tweed from memory.

Bloody good car in a manual. Quite quick with an exremely capable chassis.
The manual was an option in Australia rarely taken up as they were marketed as a luxery car. Would be surprised if more than 50 were ever sold.
It is what it says in the ad - a bargain, wish it was in Victoria. Very trouble free cars as manuals and cheap to run.

this one time at band camp ............. oops
anyway i put my car in for a service once a few years ago and i got as a courtesy car an R21 manual run around
it was fair dinkum falling apart around me so i drove it only when i really had to
wasn't too bad for a bash around the town car i must admit but i was very happy to get back into the Mi-16 i had at the time

Like a lot of old froggy cars, there are only 2 sorts left - the extremly thrashed and bashed and falling apart, and the very nice well loved.

There were two for sale simultaneously in dealers over here about 4 weeks ago; one of the dealers is known for decent French cars so at least one could have been OK.
