They are 8 valve. This one is 1998cc whereas earlier models were 1905cc.
STI was the luxury alternative in the 405 range & most expensive. All the options were included standard except this one doesn't have the sunroof.
It performs quite well, definately adequate for the size of car.
Never driven an Mi16 but they must go very well if compared to the STI.

I've seen it in the flesh & I can tell anyone even Interstate who may be interested, it's a bloody nice car; very eye catching & just looks the part.
It would suit anyone from a lay preacher to a boy racer as it has the looks of a sedate family car but has the potential to be jazzed up if that's what rocks your boat.
Performance wise, I can only do a comparison to my sons Tzi which I feel isn't all that far away from my 16V and a mate of mine has the same model and it drives exceptionally.
I usually have to fly interstate to buy my cars and if I could have found one as good as this when I was last looking, I would have caught the flight with the cheque in the hand a damn sight more confident than I did. If anything rather than flatter the car, the photos I don't think really do it justice.

i can't believe that it hasn't been snapped up
i have seen a few STI's but not right up close to know the ins and outs of them but they really do look a nice car
and with what they came with they are as much of a bargain as the Mi-16's IMHO

perhaps I'm asking too much $

One thing about this vehicle, it has no rattles!
Built very different to the 205 I had.
The demister vents near the winscreen have cracks in them from the sun & only "creak" when the car is hot inside.

    Nope; right buyer, right price.

About the only difference between you selling & the price is that if someone is going to buy it, they'll buy it at either figure unless of course you're gunna halve the price, in which case you don't have to bother selling it privately because a dealer should have no problems giving you that price for it.

Yes, I was about to say don't sell yourself short if you don't have to.. Stick to your guns, then if it gets to a point, then start to think about negotiating prices...

Just drove 1500k's in the said vehicle, never missed a beat, however air cond is not cutting in & will be rectified.
Went to Agnes Water, on to Rockhampton & back to Agnes, Rules Beach then back to Brisbane.
Does everything with ease, except for cooling the passengers at the moment

Still $10K ono, & appears on carsales.

Will consider swapping for Citroen 11bl French built Traction in going roadworthy/ going condition, however have not told the 'lil lady this
I will find storage for it elsewhere..... somehow..... just a thought

Oh, the STI has the nicest seats you will ever find! I'll see if I can find a buyer for you...keep my ears close to the ground for anyone who is after a medium sized car.
