    No I'm not kidding.
These cars are worthless here in Canberra unregistered. Nobody wants a funny french car like this reno. If it was a Peugeot though it might be worth something...
    kidding.

I'll take the pics on the weekend and maybe gibgib will let me post one of the car on Monday.
Ill email them to you also.

Talk about making it hard for the guy to sell his fuego a couple of adds down His got basicly the same car for sale for $3500 (from memory). That'd just be my luck, someone would advertise what looks like a clean car for $100bucks next to my add :p :p

Yep, lifes a bitch like that but if I wanted to turn this car into a decent daily driver I woulf have to invest about $3000 into it just to get it back to average.
Shall I tell you about my mate who bought a Saab Aero new for $87K and got $30K for it 4 years later? Depreciation is a bitch! so to speak...

The friend i had in mind gave me the usual...."french cars, scary, too expensive etc etc" stuff......didn't even want to see the pic

he wasn't interested....(this is a guy who currently walks and who's last car was a beaten up gemini)

Feugos are considerably better cars than their resale values would suggest.....

With responses like my friend's, I can see how it can be difficult to find a buyer....at any price

The car looks like an absolute bargain, those wheels alone could be sold for more than $100

have you considered selling it to wreckers?....

    either way,

Best of luck with the sale ipb205, i hope you sell it quick and painlessly...

Having now delivered it to Glenbrook, I can tell you that the synchro on second gear is absolutely non-existant and there is a clutch problem, though that might just need bleeding.

The thing went like a jet and was light on fuel, but gears were terribly noisy at times. My brother is now in a quandary... which Fuego to put on the road?

The other one has more tread on the tyres...

Unless someone has performed major surgery, like putting a 20TS hydraulic clutch unit in there, the Fuego clutch is cable operated. Beware of slipping Fuego clutches, that is usually the last sign before the clutch plate starts or has begun grinding into the flywheel.

The synchro is another Fuego problem, although it seemed more common on the '82 & '83 models than the 84.

    Enjoy your new acquisition!

Oh, I should have thought of that... the 16s were cable-operated too... maybe an adjustment then...
