A very reliable little car but needs welding work. Would be great for spares for anyone who has an R4.

    Yer, I am....
Prob is, there is too much sea between us

Importation is last resort for me unless it's a real nice panel van.

    Good luck with it anyways

If you're interested, I've got an old R4 sitting outside my shed (it sat in the shed for about 18 years, but we needed the space) Can't find the time to de it up, it is about 98% complete and lives on the Far South Coast of NSW. Let me know if you are interested?

It's a sedan, not too much rust (but then any rust is too much). My camera is on holidays with my daughter at the moment. Should be back in 2 or 3 weeks. I'll try to take a picture then.

    Now or never.
The old Renault 4 has to disappear from sight. It's been given a week by "she who has to be obeyed", then I have to put her on cemetry hill out of sight and accellerating the rot process.
Free to take away from the Bega (NSW far South Coast) area.

I know what you mean by obedience
Unfortunately I am unable to take it off your hands at this time as a move is pending for us...
The pictures you sent to me are below if someone else is interested. Hope you don't mind me putting them here. Shame to see it crushed

Hopefully it is still available when I'm ready.
I might have to take a trip down that way if it's for sale.
Can you tell me any more?

"She who has to be obeyed" has given me a week to remove the old R4 to "cemetry hill".
If anyone is interested - take it away for free from the Far South Coast of NSW (near Bega)

    GG
i'll find out some more about it for you
from what i can see the car is upright and hasn't sunken into the ground yet (which is surprising with the amount of rain we have here lately)
it is parked along side of a fence in a yard in pretty much plain sight for people to see as they drive past
it has all of it's glass in it and there doesn't appear to be any body damage
haven't got close enough to see if any termites have attacked it yet

Pugrambo don't go out of your way to check it out. I really shouldn't be looking at all.
I have nowhere to put the little bastard for a start
If it's in a paddock it would surely have to be white ant ridden I'd think, esp the floor

    & again
    Once more
