    Icon6 Dyno Results...

Hey all, took the 206 to RPM Dyno Tuning in Morayfield yesterday for a dyno day simple reading, 2 years ago my pug was custom tuned to read 106kw @ wheels. After adding 2 hotdog mufflers to quieten it down (the 2.5in pipes are loud but sound on song!), yesterdays reading was 138.1HP @ wheels, or 102.9kw @ wheels. So the exhaust prooves restrictive and it wasnt the same dyno or conditions yada yada so really its a very consistant result. Looking to add some agressive road cams, retune it taking in consideration the exhaust change after the original custom tune and the cams. Id be happy to leave the car alone once it hits 170HP @ wheels......I wonder what it will take

That makes me feel pretty good. "Magic" from this forum told me I didn't have enough restriction in my exhaust system. It is too loud to register, but in a 1.9L 405, it has shown 105kW at the wheels, with original cams, quad throttle bodies and a dry sump.I'm looking for about the same figure as you at the wheels. Next engine generation has some big Cat Cams, solid lifters, vernier cam pulleys and Wossner pistons. Balanced bottom end, the quad throttle bodies and the dry sump will hopefully get me to 8000rpm and 135kw.

Magic has done all of the work on my RC from the beginning, he hand built the exhaust, however it wasnt him who added the 2 hotdog mufflers to quieten it down, hence the power drop.

Sounds like ur building a nice monsta 405
