Anybody know a good cam grind for Mi16

1.9? I want more lift and duration. With other mods 200bhp is the goal. If someone can help, will it need valve springs with this grind? Thanks.

If you want something designed for you, that will work, Ivan Tighe Engineering in Brisbane is the place to send them...

Otherwise, someone who is doing some work on the same course is Owen Wuillemin...

I'd suggest sending him a personal message, but this BB has those crazy member numbers and it might get too hard.

Have a chat to Bruce Haughie his business is The Head Stud. Fact 2/ 286 Wickham Rd Moorabbin Ph 03 9555 1147 He's great with heads, as for your Cam I've dealt with WADE Cams 5 or 6 time over the past 30 years with no complaints with holden grey motors & R8 956cc & 1100cc motors

I agree with Ray. There's a few pitfalls to be aware of if you're upgrading the cams in a twin cam. Have a talk to Owen.

Thanks guys. Damian, I thought Headstud(worlds worst business name) was Eddie's. Has it changed hands or are they maybe partners? They did a ripper job last time I was there. Wade's have done a couple of cams for me, though I find its good to actually tell them a particular cam to do. I.e the 205 cam grind I asked them to do was a 162B grind, from memory, which I believe was the cam for the old racing Volvo turbos. This was a great cam. Maybe they can split the same grind over two cams for the Mi16.
