    my 205 mi16

james, i had this conversion done nearly 4 years ago[ maybe ist. in oz] theres probably a few more around now. i luckily came across a uk mi16 being wrecked, this is the motor [1990] that i really wanted as it is the one with the good torque [no cat etc] the head has been done and a pipercross pod filter fitted. other additions are.. sparco strut brace, 300mm brembo cross drilled with braided hoses, 16" wheels, lowered 60mm[ suspension by viagra] guttman grille, auto tuning rear roof spoiler, bonnet vents,3" exhaust, car lightened by 30kg. thats about it!! oh! yeah! it goes like stink. jr

Don't forget the ADR rule applies to the car, not the motor. So technically, you should still be running a cat. I think it makes little difference, as the size is similar to that fitted to HSV spec. V8's, which pump more air. How did you fit the inlet manifold in?
