What factory rims fit on a 205?

I want to get some 15" rims for my 205GTI if possible and was wondering what other rims fit. I don't even care if they are just steelies. Likewise couldn't care what they look like, as long as they fit.

Any ideas? Oh, and they don't have to be off a Froggy car either.

    Cheers

406 steel wheels and hubcaps look good and fit fine. In fact they stick out slightly wider. I ran my GTi on these as the hubcaps looked better than the 14" alloys. Therefore any old 406 alloys should fit as well. As I had my 406 wheels on a 306 also and I should expect therefore that 306 15" wheels will fit a 205 also.

    it's 4 x 108 with an offset of 18mm on pugs such as 205's, 306's, 405's and an offset of 27mm on a 206.

fords have an offset of closer to 40mm, it may be 37mm, they'll fit with a 20mm spacer.

    i really like the look 16" 206 GTi wheels on a 205.

How much would be the asking price for 406 steel rims, dont need the hub caps.

I am think of purchasing some slick for my 205 thus the spare rims.

I "ran" around the web and this is what I found.

306 has an offset of 15mm and PCD of 4x108

Other cars with the same PCD:

    205,309,405,406 offset 15-22mm
    206, 307 offset 25
    Saab 900 88~92 offset 30
    Porsche 924 4 stud offset 15
Citroen Bx, Zx, Xantia Xsara offset 15~22
Alfa Romeo spider (year?) offset 15
    Audi 80,90,100,200 offset 35~42

I also am looking for the spare wheels for the same purpose as Parry. 15" or 16" should do.

i was lead to believe that the 206 wheels were 4X104 and 205,306,405,406 were 4X108
    i may be wrong though
BTW i have been informed that the new 406's now have 5 stud wheels
is this true or have i been led up the garden path ?

The prototype 406 sedans which were running around Europe in the early 1990s had 5 stud hubs (probably from the 605), but when the 406 was finally released it had 4 stud wheels.

Maybe the person who told you about them having 5 studs simply saw a picture of an early 406 prototype?

Here's a pic of my old 306 with 15" 406 rims and wheel covers. A lot of people confused them with 205 GTi alloys. It looks undertyred because I had 195/50 instead of 55. I was quite a stupid 18 year old back then

From memory the rims cost $60 each brand new.

I have seen a 205 with 15" Mi16 rims and it looked horn. They would be one of my first choices.

Darren, ask brenno were he got his from, or ring places like AVS, Parra Prestige, Dapce etc, and see what they quote.
    Good luck.
