    Default 2000 HDI into 405/BX

Has anyone put a late model PUG/CIT turbo diesel into a PUG 405 or a CIT BX.
Is it a bolt in job like the older SRDT turbo diesel or does it require major changes?

I know a guy in the UK has done something like this to a BX16V.
If you were to post on one of those UK sites I sent you the URL to, you may get a response. If not, I should have this guys e mail addy if you want to give him a call.

Vanny only put in the standard 1.9 turbo diesel Xantia motor didn't he ??

The HDi much like a petrol motor would need all it's computers and harnesses moved across

It'd be a bloody rippa though, the economy and power of a HDi in the light weight BX

He has had some recent problems with the car and was redoing something on it which I'm pretty sure included the Hdi engine transplant. It was either that or someone else he was involved with either did it or intended doing.
Couple of the real fanatical ones in Europe do all kinds of things that we rarely hear about. One was looking at a V6 in a BX!!!

    Right; found something.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but should be enough to frighten the sox off you anyways.
