Default Steering Wheel Removal - 306

Hi there!! How on earth do I get the steering wheel off of my 306??? I cannot find a star bit to fit (looks to be about 10mm!!).

Any suggestions or anyone had the same issue?

    Thanks

    Skydive,
By "starbit" do you mean a "Torx" type or a "Spline" socket? A good tool supplier* should have these. From the bad old days in the UK I seem to remember the Opel/Vauxhalls required a 10mm spline socket for their head bolts.
Torx bits use a numbering system having nothing to do with their size.
If the 306 uses a Torx head bolt to retain the wheel it may be a "tamper proof" type if it has an air bag built in.

*For good tool supplier I'm told that Halfords are now like our "Supercheap".
Lots of floor mats, seat covers and wheelbarrows.

    you'll need 30 torx driver.
make sure you disconnect the battery so there is no chance of airbag deployment and so you don't get a fault code.
