    Default tyre question..

    Heya.

Beurepairs is having a sale at the moment and im up for new tyres (again!)..

    I have a 92 mi16, which runs 195/55/r15s.. they have a special on Goodyear
    Eagle F1 GSD3 195/50R15 for $119 which i reckon is pretty good...

would it be a bad thing to go down in profile or is the difference negligable??

(I understand it may make the ride a little more harsh and as i understand it, it would put my speedo out a little, but it would show faster than im going)
    1992 mi16 1.9 litre - it's a love hate realtionship.

Hrm the price is tempting but I wouldn't do it. I did it once in a 306 and regret it. Takes the edge off the handling.

They wouldn't be legal. Min. load rating for an Mi16 is 84. 195x50/15 are 82.
