Thanks. Seems that's the only way to go unfortunately

Asking for Brembo discs to match them, hope they'll work well.

Yep I got mine from Performance friction, sent from canberra. From memory I don't think they charged all that much for delivery.

J206gti, How much are the brembo discs? From reading other people's experience on Performanceforums.com with the ds2500 used with DBA rotors, even on the track everyone's been happy with the combo. When I need to replace rotors, I'll definitely go the DBA's as they seem to be the least expensive as well.

Not sure, I'm still waiting for a few places to call me back to see if they can source them, it won't be too pricy as it's around Euro$185 with pads included:
    http://www.brembo.com/CatalogoHP/Det...163&idLingua=1

The DS2500 will definitely be ordered. I've heard they are pretty noisy on some cars, I wonder how is this on the pug.

That sounds cheap..are they the performance slotted rotors or are they just the brembo oem replacement ones?

Why are you replacing the pads that come with it without trying them out? The ds2500 are relatively noisy when cold. Mine squeal quite loudly in traffic.

OE replacement, but I'd expect better performance, problem is no one stocks them in australia !!

no i'm not, they aren't available so even if i have the disc i still have to find pads that work with them. Talking to racebrakes and they said only DS2500 is available.

Anyone know what shape the pads is for the MY01.5 ? BSMSport can't give me a price until they know which one it is, there are 4 kinds listed for the 206GTI in that year....
