Default Cam belt change in 405 Mi16 1.9

What do I need to know about this in advance guys? Any tricks?
I'm doing this as the water pump is knackered.

    1. Get some 6mm mild steel rod to hold the cam gears in place,

    2. 2 new belt tensioners,

    3. An 8mm (I think), but same size as the square on the sump plug, to adjust the tensioners

    4. New cam belt,

    5. Tube Permatex to seal the new water pump

    6. Bandages for the skun knuckles you'll end up with

and make sure you tighten the tensioners the right way (its actually the WRONG way)

otherwise your cam timing will be waaay out.

You also need to lock the crank with an 8mm dowel (or drill). With the two cams and the crank locked, you can't go wrong.

On completion, remove the 3 dowels and rotate the engine through 720 degress. The dowels should all slip straight back in as verification.

I don't use any goo on the water pump. Just clean faces and a gasket.
