    Default Ordering from overseas

Has anyone ever ordered from Autopia in the US?

Just wondering what the service is like and how long an order takes to arrive in OZ, using their International mail system?

    Thx,

I have heard that some of the Yank mail order parts places are very efficient but usually they aren't competitive with prices.
I presume it is French Car parts you are referring to or are you looking for bits for Yank Tanks?
Reason I ask is that I seem to have heard of a lot of various companies worldwide selling French bits but this is a new one on me.

Ordering some detaling products for yourself have not purchased from Autopia but it is not the cheapest for postage, very efficent though, i have ordered from other comapnies in America and they arrive quickly.

What are you purchasing, there is a few comapnies here in Aus that sell the products that Autopia have

I have ordered twice from Autopia, first time 6 working days delivery, second time even quicker. Postage is a killer, but all costs are disclosed before you spend your money. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. There is a dollar limit to how much you can import into the country without attracting custom duties, not sure how much it is, but $200 dollars rings a bell, or was it $400.

There is no set dollar limit that tax cuts in at, only that they don't usually bother if the goods are below $400 AUD in my experience.
