I've got the dustless EBC pads (i think they use kevlar or something...)

Ironically they're collecting dust in my garage waiting for the OEM pads to wear out. Got some DBA slotted rotors on standby as well

I've looked at greenstuff ones at autospeed.com.au but ended up deciding they're not worth it for me - the dustless ones will help me out more cause I'll be cleaning wheels less often.

I remember picking up the rear EBC Greenstuff pads for the S16 for $93.50 and the fronts were around the same price or less 'cos I bought them when Autospeed were having 15% off EBC products.

They still create plenty of dust. But I think it is more dependant on driving style. Hopefully soon I'll stop driving like I'm in a rally and start getting reasonable wear from components!

parry, if it's a track car, have you thought of trying the Ferodo DS2500's, or even better the DS3000? I have the DS2500 on my car at the moment and they're pretty amazing. (However, I've never used EBC greenstuff, so can't directly compare). Not sure how much the Ferodo's would be on the 205, but would be worth ringing Competition friction in ACT to find out.

Try www.autospeed.com. The rears through a dealer ($160) cost more than the fronts through autospeed ($120)

I bought a set of EBC Greenstuff pads from Autobarn (SA) - they got them in from EBC in Melbourne overnight - cost $126. For series I 205GTi part no is DP2545. First set I bought over 2 years ago from Northshore Rallysport for
$142 which included $60 freight to Adelaide. I have EBC slotted/spotted rotors. The brakes are up to the job for circuit sprints, even with the Mi16
engine in. If Autobarn is in Sydney, they might be worth a try.

I've used several brands including EBC green n red.

Green nothing special rather stick to OE. Red are for track use only as I found they dont stop all the way to a complete standstill. Releases the brakes for some reason, same said from other friends using.

I wont mention the other pads that I dont recommend but Ferodo DS3000 kick ass. I had those on my G88 OE 206Gti brakes and they bite so hard u can fly through the window. Downside is they are very noisy, eat your discs and wear out very quick with untold amounts of black dust that stay on your rims if not cleaned soon. I now use the DS2500 with the G88 in 283mm config and find that a better balance.

DS2500 or DS3000 is the only way to go for me.
