Bill Hamilton in the PCCV has put one on his V6 turbo 505. Wheni went for a cruise in it i didn't really notice the handling too much; i only noticed the fact that we dragged and beat a gen 3 V8 holden.

On a 504/505, it would mainly be for looks, wouldn't it?? I reckon so. I have half a plan to make one for my 504 one day. (For looks.) I have a couple of spares of the round steel plates that sit on the strut tops. I'll get someone to bend up a bit of tube, shape the ends a bit and weld it to the plates. Give it a splash of paint and there you go, a nice bit of under-bonnet eye candy.

    Buring of a Gen 3... such a shame .. such a shame

    Default strut brace

Read somewhere else on the forum that 504's are renown for cracking at the A pillar, perhaps a triangular brace back to firewall may offer some assistance afterall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Default Nisspug...definatly brace it.

Given the engine swap you've done, I'd think a brace would offer a little more stability especially given the torque you could expect from the turbo. If you were going to race it, even more certainly.
