    Icon5 Weber 32DIR 49 On 2.0 Litre

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience putting a Weber 32DIR 49 - off a Renault R16TS I am told - on 2 litre Peugeot XN1 engine or similar. I read that it may have to be retuned with larger jets to accommodate the larger capacity engine. Any comments?

I have been told that the Centura carby went straight on and required no change of jetting...

Later the person who told me that said that they had found it needed a slight change of main jet and that the 16TS was the one that required no change at all.

Reputedly it gave a slight power increase and about 2mpg fuel consumption imporvement.
