Default Quaife RWD & FWD lsd's

Quaife Engineering, [url]www.quaife.co.uk are currently assembling a small production run of lsd diff centres for RWD Pugs (QDF8HI).

The discounted price is 445gbp +freight, gst & import duty, which would be around $AUD1400-1500.

This may be the last of these diffs from Quaife.

    Is anyone here interested?

Also, FWD diff centres (QDF3HP) are still available.

    Price will depend on interest.

1500 is quite a chunk, i seem to remember the last talkign being around 1200 possibly lower.. any reason for the discreptancy?

    Hi Janek,

The discreptancy is due to the low production run.

They weren't prepared to make any of these until they recieved an order for 10 as a minimum.

As it happens, someone else in the world has placed an order for the 10, so they knew I wanted some as well, & have agreed to increase the run by whatever quantity we can come up with.

They may work out a little less, but better to have a worst case price initially.

How long before we can get them shipped over here? My engine's getting built at the moment so I'd like to put it all together at the same time.

I want to place the order in about 2 weeks, so they'll be here before Christmas.

    G'day Bazz,

The QDF3HP is the diff centre for BE type transmissions (either BE1 or BE3).

    They suit 205, 206, 206/180, 306, 309 & 405.

    Demannu,

You'd need to pay for them within 2 weeks.

It's a cash up front arrangement whereby you pay the funds into a nominated account & in return I purchase the diffs on your behalf at a discounted price, air-freight them to Melb. & pay the import duty & gst.

The only other cost is to sending the diff(s) via Aust Post to you (about $30 each).

This method has been done successfully several times before for both AussieFroggers & Peugeot Car Club members around Aust.

    Hi Jeff,
Could be interested in a RWD diff for the 203! Would it be possible to get it sent surface freight and how much would it save?
I used one of these last night in a rally (505 V6). It seems to work very well, no inside wheel spin but also no sideways motoring that you would get with a tightly set up cone type LSD or a Detroit Locker.

I'm out. Too expensive for me right now with two projects on the go. I need to spend the money getting the bug spick n span and I can't see that I'd realise the full potential of the LSD for my type of driving anyway. Maybe in the future
