    Default 205 shocker advice needed.

i was thinking of putting the yellow koni sports shockers all round on my 205 gti.
i need some advice,i dont really want the thumpy hard ride usually associated with these shocks and was wondering how soft the softest setting is.i want my shocks to be able to handle bumpy amd dirt corrigated roads that i will soon be driving on all the time.i dont want to shake the shoit out of my 205 as its got a few rattles already and i dont want more.
ultimatly i would like a rally type shock that can handle dirt and tarmac that aint too pricey[i know im dreaming]or am i.that could be adjusted for road or dirt, does such a shocker exist and how much are they.[i dont have a wrc budget so forget about wrc types]-BAZZ

A 205 GTI will give a poor ride on dirt ( compared to a 405) no matter what the shocks are, given the stiffer suspension and shorter wheelbase. I have had Koni yellows on a 205 GTI years ago and thought they were great, on road or off, it just depends what your senses perceive to be rough.

In fact I have had Konis on every car I have owned, except a sad Fuego.
