Default Fuego brake pads - any thoughts

To all you Fuego nuts out there:

What brake pads are you using?

Im thinking of trying GreenStuff pads, so any feedback on these would be appreciated.

Also, do the Girling and Bendix calipers use the same pads??? Im pretty sure my calipers are Girling - is there any advantage to one type over the other?

    Thanks
Never attribute to malice that which is adequatly explained by stupidity.

The Girling and Bendix Fuego pads are different. Girling pads have a spring on the longest edge, the Bendix pads have "ears" at the end of the longest edge with no spring.

    Default Ferodo DS2500

Well i've just put in Ferodo DS2500, a bit more expensive than the Greenstuffs, but from what i've heard they're a significant jump ahead...

They're not fully bedded in, but they've already got more bite & better feel than the stockies & at $360 for all 4 corners quite a bargain...

Cant wait to get em out for a good drive though!

the Roadhouse pads Ken at Carrevelle hands me have been fine, in Fuego, R10 and R21. At the silly prices he charges, they can be made of wood for all I care . Other pads may be "better" but Kens are CHEAP!!!

All Oz spec Fuegos are Girling I think, and they work just fine with Roadhouse Pads. Wear well, decent feel and work well cold and hot - yet to fry them, even on panic stops from 140 kph down a hill in the R21
I tried to drown my sorrows in alcohol, but the bastards learnt how to swim

Can be either Girling or Bendix on Aussie cars. Both are pretty obvious though.
