I think the problem is that you need to lower your seat back more until you cant see the speedo - then you wont be worried about performance.

Oh also make sure you load the boot up with some sub's to get that phat bass going man.

Hey, lets not be snobs now

Make sure the pod filter has more than 1/2 of it open to a volume or air (ie not stuck into a hole where no air can get through the fins) and that it's in a nice stream of cool air when moving. Pod filters make little difference in anycase so I doubt a dodgy insstall would make much of a difference.

Make sure you buy it from autobarn instead of super cheap as well.

As much as i hate VL commodore's, there wouldn't be many cars on here that would take a modded VL turbo in a straight line. I know you all reckon you'll beat him round a corner, and are 10 times nicer to drive an ride in but not everybody buy's a car for the same purpose.
But yeah, i'm totally perplexed as to why someone would post a question relating to VL turbo's in this forum?
Try doing a search for VL or holden forum's dude.

Then instead of this ghey FWD sh1t i can actually do nice burnouts haha

That's a great way to start an argument here

I think this guy is a troll. He's posted one message and look at the response he's got.

BTW you can make a hyundai go faster than a ferrari in a straight line..., does that make it a better car?

maybe we should redirect this guy to somewhere like performance forums rather then being asses and getting a bad reputation http://pforums.company-hosting.com/forums/ i know that this post is blatently off the topic of any part of this forum but lets not poke fun.

    Yes be nice everyone.

I considered moving the thread to the Toad Pond when I first saw it created but didn't because then the poster wouldn't be able to view it.

Once it's run it's course I will move it so it doesn't come up in Google and attract more similar posters.

stuill recon a RB30 would make a nice engine for a 504/5. i mean.. cheap as chips... go fast bits for em left right end centre.. diff's all over the shop and everything else as well.. makes good sence..

but yeah .. you dont even need a pod filter man... just hang a pipe out in front of the front tyre.. anything over the pipe will just restrict it... Tis all about air flow.. and lfowoing as much air as possible... a pod with that foam crap just slows it down

Default VL driver: Are you lost?

Let's be rational here and assume that this ****wit has approx twice as many cylinders in his 'fully sick' VL as he has IQ points. Yes, that is a very stereotypical comment but from what I can tell labotomies are now complimentary with every Commodore purchase. What would the reaction be if a fellow frogger joined in with a Holden or Ford forum? This should be his last post! And someone please explain the concept of IRS to him, it did after all take holden up until 1995 to make it standard on Commodores, and we humble French car drivers have been enjoying it since the 60's.

Hello Mr Commodore owner, I don't think you will get much sympathy here as admitting to liking Commodores is a whipping offence and owning one is a hanging offence.
I had to do a bit of research on Commodores for a friend who didn't know a keyboard from a mouse and I found the blokes on Commodore Club of WA Forums to be helpful, even if they did bag me for being a Peugeot owner asking Commodore questions.
They will welcome you with open arms.

    Default Irony

Dos anyone else think it ironic that the only decent engine ever put in a holden, was a nissan engine? And the fact the Holden are to blame for nissans lack of envolvement in Australian racing. Imagine how much better Holden and Ford would be if they let the Skylines stay in the bathurst race. They would have been implementing 4wd and turbos along time ago, in stead they use there stinking push-rods which i wouldnt even use for a lawn mower Sorry, I am prolly too open how much i hate holden.
    Cheers
