    Icon5 Boss kit for 505

    Hey there,

I've been thinking about getting a new sports steering wheel for my 505, and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a boss kit from that would fit, and also how much would it cost ?. Also if I get a boss kit will any steering wheel fit onto it ?

    Default 505 to the max

I have a 'sports' wheel fitted to my 505 using an Autotechnica boss kit. Reasonably cheap ($80 if I remember rightly) and has two different stud patterns drilled so it can be used with other wheels. I bought it from Supercheap and it took about four weeks to order in. Be warned that if your car doesn't have power steering that this mod will only make it heavier (at low/parking speeds) but a joy above about 50km/h.

Saas also make one. Another opption is to use a Mi16 wheel. I believe they bolt straight on.
