Icon9 Where to go for suspension

Going around a corner too fast on friday night... understeer...
hit the gutter on the passanger side (stupid gutter/stupid me)

you can actually see that the front left wheel has been pushed backwards.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good place (in Melbourne south-eastern area) to get suspension fixed. I've herd a lot of horror stories about pedders, so, where else can I go?

    Cheers

    Pete

Sounds like your need to replace:

    -castor control arm
    -track control arm
-and possibly the strut (if so make sure you get the right type, pre-82, 83, or post-84)

Hey. Bummer. Ive almost done that in my car a few times, not much fun is it....

Theres a place in Moorabin called Advantage suspension (Winston Ct, not sure what number but youll see it) They do lots of suspension work, mostly upgrades though i think (just judging from the cars they work on). anyways llok them up in the yellow pages or go visit them and find out.

Hope it doesnt cost you a fortune....

ended up going to Zac (<spelling?? sorry) at
    TECH SUSPENSION (03 9720 9300)
He really seemed to know his stuff and was quite cheap.
It was a castor control arm that was replaced.
A wheel alignment was also done.

car goes in straight line now - is good

Absolutley! I was thinking about lowering the car a tad and reducing
body-roll. What can you tell me?

    Cheers
