Thats right, he does cam regrinds on an exchange basis, so you will have to send him your cam, he's a reliable guy - many happy customers on here that will back that up. Send him a PM (private mail) and he will arrange it for you.

Group A cam $600 (billet cam, outright, it's Pug. Motorsport, as new)
    Pulley $100
    shims? what thickness?

The problem with just that info is that there are many more variables. For example, the Grp. A cam has too much lift for the std. springs, so doubles are a must. Double springs require modified spring seats, and bases to support the inner springs. Double springs also require a modified retainer, and so the list goes on. That's a lot of extra hassle. That's why the head/cam package is a bargain, if you want that style of cam.

I can do a Stage II regrind that will work with the std. springs. It needs 10:1 min. CR and 98 octane fuel - $250 exchange. You'll still need to dial it in with an adjustable pulley or offset key, etc.

i'm also after a phat cam for my 8v 405 series II. but only phat with two a's, not five.

what sort of cams do you make for the 8 valve motors? i just want some more poke without having to modify the head. obviously a variable cam gear is a must. so what can you do?
