    Default Timing

On a 205, to advance the timing, is it towards the grill or towards the firewall?

I really can't recall, but I think it must be towards the firewall. ie when the distributor is viewed from the LH side of the engine bay, clockwise.

Towards the firewall dropped the revs so retarted. Towards the grill is the right way.

Spent the whole day on the car, interior looks the ants pants now! Both race seats in, striiped carpets and underlay. Geez that underlay weighted 15kg+

anyway, you'll still need an extra gear change between turns 2 and 3, and I'm hoping for rain.

I kicked its but too, but with race tyres, short gearing and 220 hp, it should really make NM2A more interesting.

A mere technicality. Stupid rule, isn't it? You can burn as much info as you want into an EPROM, but you can't change the box its in!

it stops people getting rid of ECU inputs and forces the induction/timing system to remain largely unchanged.

Does/has the AHOC send/t out confirmations of entries? We sent ours off really early so should be OK but with some clubs/events you just turn up and hope??

    Thanks

    Cheers

I'd say no news is good news. You usually don't get a yes vote until the Monday before. A no vote comes earlier.

It's not really that hard to swap the AFM for a MAP sensor. They both give a linear resistance output.

with the aftermarket unit though you can run AFM/MAP-less setup, run extra injectors, etc.
