    Default A new kit ECU

On the speeduino site there is a Motronic ECU that fits the Bosch case, the author has kindly agreed to modify it to bring out the MAP sensor on the Air Flow meter lines and also add a stepper controller for the idle air controller of the XU and possibly later models,

    https://speeduino.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2667

Lots easier than the Megasquirt I believe. Uses the same tuner studio as Megasquirt and uses the auto tune feature as well, tuning is another challenge.

That reads really well. I think I'd like one.

For sure. I'm struggling to find a Nissan option though. I'd like to put one in my Patrol. However, it needs to have the correct trigger input eg R32, R33 etc.

Oh, that is left field. Are we talking VR versus Hall effect.

If anybody has any Motronic ECU cases lying around I'll be up for this!

Otherwise I will reshape the board to fit my Jetronic case and use the 24-pin connector I have already bought for my Boschduino project, as he only uses 20 or so of the 55 pins. This guy has done all the hard work.

Peter, download the manual, you will find it on the wiki page I think, there are Nissan decoders, not sure if they go to your needs though?

OK, time on my hands (which is never a good thing as I am always in trouble like this) I am sick and contagious, so no work.

Modifying the PCB to bring out the 4 injector and ignition lines to the connector, bring out MAP for external MAP.

    Anything else?

Graham I will be on contact for a motronic case or two.

Why not keep the internal map? Less wiring, just a tube.

Fair question, I am happier with wires than tubes. That explains a fundamental difference between us, the mech eng likes pipes and tubes, the elec like wires and signals! (not even contemplating the extra complexity of my preference but whats another pair?)

I must add I am thinking like you though as I try to figure out how to use verniers and not have to measure the valves with a dial gauge. A scratch or something to make both wheels mount similarly (old and new?)
