Default Power steering seal kits for 205 / 405.

Looks like Jay Gee are no longer in business and can't find these seal kits listed elsewhere. Any ideas? May have to just buy new lip seals and forget about the rings? Down to my last two kits.

May I hijack and ask where to buy a kit to overhaul a manual PAS rack? On servicebox they look almost identical internally except for the stud on one end of the rack and the pinion.

What is a manual PAS rack? You mean non power assist? You can buy an internal bushing for the left hand end, not available for PAS racks..

Graham, could you share any intelligence on this, I too want to rebuild my PAS rack as I am sure at its age it will need it?

    Many thanks

That's the one. Beware, they only sell to trade however.

More to the point you need to get an Si rack, the S3 GTi one has too many turns. I'll try and get an order for some kits.

Indeed and thank you for responding, put me down for two sets if you are going to do this. Sister in Melb can pick these up and bring them north one day soon perhaps? Payment when and how you desire.

    Many thanks

For Brisbanites- BHSS can supply these if you require local and urgent. No idea on price however they were $30-40 about 10 years ago.

Jay Gee were about $15. I'm in no hurry to get a kit right at the moment so don't let me hold you up.

I recently purchased from pspa over the phone as a private buyer. No problems.
