    Default 205 Ride Height Again

I know there has been lots of discussion on this forum regarding ride height but I was unable to find the info I was after. I am setting up the suspension for my sprint car, I was after the distance between the bolt holes for the rear shock absorbers with the shocks removed. The manual states 330mm for a standard car but should that change for a
sprint car? I have a 25mm arb, standard GTI torsion bars and Koni sports on the rear. I have KW adjustable coil overs on the front.

If you measure the ride height between the wheel centre and the top of the guard I think that I read that the difference should be greater by 20mm at the rear than the front?

    Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks

I have measured the distance between centres of the shock absorber mounts with the shocks removed as 305mm and 310 mm.

I sould set it up to begin with from the height of the front.

Fit you struts at the front, make sure the wishbones are no lower than ‘level’ or pointing down just a tad (closer to OE ride height) and then adjust the height with the car on the ground. Its the only way to get it accurate if fitting non OE front danpers.
