    Default Face shields

    Hi
Don't know about you guys but I find that protective face shields are pretty easy to scratch and then it can be hard to see detail through them. I've tried polishing them with polish made for car headlight covers, without good result. When you go to Bunnings to replace, they are actually fairly expensive for 2 bits of plastic and can cost around $40 for a new one, and they don't seem to sell just the shield parts either.

I bought a few A3 size pieces of polycarbonate online. They are about ten bucks each and you can cut 2 new shields out of each one, with scissors. And a punch for the locating holes. The whole items are also a lot cheaper on aliexpress.

Just some ideas for other penny pinchers like myself.

    Thanks

Motocross riders used to use this kind of idea. They had goggles and then about 5 thin pieces of clear hard plastic taped one over the other.

Every time one got muddy, they'd just rip it off.
