    Default Summer Diesel...High country winter...opps

So my diesel has been sitting for a few months with nearly a full tank of diesel. I went to start it the other day, got out of the garage and then...she failed to proceed.

Had a look and a play, and after letting it sit in the sun today for 6 hrs and a good bit of aerostart, I managed to get it running.
This is when I remember that it has summer diesel in it, and i'm guessing it's gone gloopy

So are there substances I can add to my fuel to make it winter diesel instead.
I'd prefer not to have to siphon the current fuel out.

I had this happen to my tractor a few years ago, and I remember to change her over, but I forgot this vehicle. Lesson learnt!

    Hi,
I don't know anything about this personally, but just had a look because of this thread.
What Speaksgeek said is verified in this document, which says 5% kero.

    !
Gsmack: As a matter of interest, how cold has it been down your way to make this happen?

    Thanks for that link Andy.
Will take the advise of not lighting a fire under the tank very seriously
We’re at regular frost level, overnights less then 2C
