    Default 306 N3 Speedo sensor

I'm trying to connect the factory electric speed sensor on the transmission to send a speed signal to a separate control unit that I need a speed reading for. Does anyone know the number of pulses per revolution it should put out?

Found the info if anyone needs it, it's 8 pulses per rpm of the speedo shaft.

oooh! I was just about to do that myself! Good info. Is it a 12V or 5V square wave output? What are you doing with the pulses?

12v square wave output. Shares the power supply for circuit from the main power relay that also powers the purge valve.
