    Default 20056 Berlingo Rear Susspension

Would a 2005 Berlingo have the torsion bar rear suspension? Need a pair for my 309 rally car and have found a 2005 model being wrecked.

Got them out today, grovelling around in the dirt and heat at Imlach's
However, the total monetary cost was $27 for a 1.3mm upgrade to the 309, can't complain about that!

By the way no idea why the van was being wrecked, maybe a dead MA gearbox?

    Nice GW

I had them on a 309 beam in a 205 at one point.

There also good upgrade for 405 rear beams as there the same length.

Yes, by a fluke all three have the same length bars. The 405/Berlingo suspension is totally different from 309/205/306 which makes it even more of a coincidence.

The back axle on the Berlingo is basicly the same as on the 405 witch were produced at the same time as the 205 and 309 so its no coincidence.

You're right, the coincidence is more that the 309 uses the same length bar.

Yep. You can essentially just replace the entire rear of a 405 with a berlingo rear end as an 'upgrade'.

After you remove the brakes and replace with discs. I wonder whether the bigger Berlingo drums would fit a 205 Si rear end? Could be a good upgrade for motorkhanas, I need to give the lever a big tug in my Si even with new handbrake cables.
