hey all - after completly rebuilding the front end on the R25, ther is still a thunk from the steering I think, which can only be clearance b/w the rack and the pinion or the plastic plunger that bears on the rack opposite the pinion. It also gives the car a feeling of nervousness on the road and never feels as solid and secure as it should - is also a bit prone to tramlining.

Rack plunger is adjustable via a big screw in plug - what sort of method should I apply to determining correct adjustment? I was thinking to the point where it doesnt bind the rack but has no clearance left anywhere. The rack is a s/h one I bought, so no idea of milage but was physically immaculate and doesnt leak at all.
