Default Mobile aircon service - Melbourne. Any experiences/recommendations?

I need to get the AC on my son's car (Subaru) serviced. Would like to get a mobile service - to come to the house.

Anyone have experiences (good or not so ...) ? Recommendations?

    Ian,

A question: why mobile? They never have the stock of parts an aircon workshop will have.

You could try what used to Bertil Motors in Tooronga Rd towards Riversdale Rd on the City side. They used to do some very tidy aftermarket installs on 504s.

But I have no recent direct experience so I'll leave you to make your own enquiries.

EDIT: Maybe not- their on-line reviews don't look particularly promising.

Shame you're not in Sydney. I have a great mobile guy I use - AC Mobile Air.

    .
Answer: me being lazy. My son's car (he away in USA at present) and I couldn't be bothered to take it to the folk who do AC service on my Renaults. I probably should do that though (in the new year) as I know they will do a proper job.
